i can’t say for certain if my case is a coincidence or not, but i read several articles and it said they closed a ton of accounts belonging to people who have ‘asian sounding surnames’ or ‘chinese sounding surnames’ and asia-based e-mail addresses on the suspicion that they ‘could be buying sale products to resell’. honestly i’m shocked and disgusted and i was unaware and i feel like i would have heard something about it before, but i thought i’d make a post for anyone out there who didn’t know or might have gotten an account closed, since i’ve always been a loyal customer for years but i don’t think i’ll be giving them any more of my money. note that most of the people discriminated against were US residents if you want to go check.
