i hate when people get mad that someone says like marching band or some shit isnt a sport like

something not being a sport does not make it not hard, or not physically demanding, or not an art form in and of itself

it just means you dont run and score points with a ball, and honestly, i dont know why anyone would want to have something they;re so passionate about be nothing but a sport anyway, when there are so many better ways to describe expressive physical mediums

and just for context, i am in marching band. and whether or not its a “sport” is neither here nor there in the context of how important it is to me.
