also in Free!, something to remember is their ages. Rei, Kou, and Nagisa would be the equivalent of high school freshmen,  Haruka, Mokoto, and Rin would be the equivalent of sophomores, and Mikoshiba, I believe, would be a junior. It’s just incredibly interesting, because it just shows that these kids have a lot of potential room to grow in the upcoming season, both mentally and physically. I’m not sure if I’m emotionally prepared to see Nagisa turn into a non-shota.
